Suspicious Emails or Spam

Suspicious or Spam emails can be any of the following: 

  • Emails from a known sender that seem suspicious or out of place
  • Random emails from unknown sender
  • Any email that contains suspicious links
  • Unnecessary promotional emails
  • Mailing lists that you want to be removed from

If you come across any email in your inbox that looks suspicious or that you do not want, do the following:

Forward any suspicious email to phishing@usc.edu.

Our security team will flag the sender as SPAM and have them blocked.
